Break Money Beliefs That Limit Your Resource Flow

"Break every chain, Break every chain, break every chain"

Are you familiar with the lyrics of this song?😊

What is the world's definition of POVERTY?

Poverty is the state of not having enough material possessions or income for a person's basic needs. Poverty may include social, economic, and political elements. Absolute poverty is the complete lack of the means necessary to meet basic personal needs, such as food, clothing, and shelter.

And...What is YOUR definition of poverty?

I'll give you a moment to digest the question then respond.

Now, what is GOD's definition of poverty?

We typically think it's economic deficiencies- a lack of financial resources, or material goods, a lack of "connections

Yet, one of my mentors challenged my mindset in the early years of launching our divinely inspired 501c3 - the Time To Fly Foundation...

As I struggled with:

Where do I find the money to help these women?

Where do I find the resources to guide me?

Who will help me execute the vision?

Wow...this vision is going to COST AMOUNTS OF MONEY THAT I DON'T HAVE?!

He shared, "Michele, you are NOT poor for God's vision. True poverty is the acceptance of meager possibilities--- poverty of imagination, poverty of believing. It is acceptance of limitation and a mindset being governed by lack. Remember, you belong to an UNLIMITED God, and the vision comes from Him!"

In our own limited human understanding, we often find ourselves putting God in a box and limiting Him. Still, the Word of God tells us that we serve a God who is unlimited in power, capacity, knowledge, being, compassion, grace, and holiness.

Here are some scriptures that will help you also to stop putting God in a box and remember just how mighty and great HE is.

1 Corinthians 2:9. "But, as it is written, 'What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him'—"

Job 36:22-24. "God's power is unlimited. He needs no teachers to guide or correct him. Others have praised God for what he has done, so join with them."

Jeremiah 32:17. “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.

Jeremiah 32:27. “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?"

Matthew 19:26. "Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Philippians 4:19 AMPC. "And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Note, God already made PROVISION for the vision He gave.

He was waiting on me to STEP forward.

Each time I took a step in the direction of the vision...PROVISION met me!

As I used my home computer to type the vision and communicate on paper what God inspired me to do in helping His daughters heal from abuse...one by one, like-minded people responded to help.

As I shared the vision with my local church, the practical resources of space and supplies manifested.

As WE [the now growing team] kept moving forward, the financial resources to buy bibles, diapers, printing materials, food, and more arrived.

When I turned my eyes, mind, and mouth to HIM the chains of "lack of provision/resources" BROKE off and the doors one by one would open.

I can go on and on about God's UNLIMITED provision when you walk it out step by step...HE HAS IT WAITING for you!

Why?

It's there to fulfill HIS purposes on the earth, see lives transformed, and God ultimately receives HIS rightful GLORY!

Today, I encourage you to take off the "poverty mindset" chain and STEP onto the path of PROVISION for His Vision God foreordained for...YOU!

Lord, help us shift from a poverty to the PROMISE MINDSET.

Amen

Blessings! CMJ
